Being the youngest of eight loud kids and the only artist in the family, I was pushed
around a lot. "Carlitos!" And there I was, snapping frames with my dad's camera or
beating the guitar. I felt that I had to clearly explain why I liked to observe life
through lenses and music. I guess I was just living an artist's life without even knowing it.
Now, being equipped with a design background greatly attributed to my time at SCAD
(Savannah College of Art and Design), I've turned my passion for motion graphics into a career
as a media designer. My love of film goes hand in hand with my skill for editing and applying
motion to designs, flash and video and other media.
My initial career steps in cinematography began on film production sets, photographing model
shoots and working with a variety of corporate clients on both the east and west coasts. And
this time, it was my turn to push things around— pushing pixels along the way.
